$125,000 to $190,000 base + bonus About the Opportunity Our client is a growing healthcare organization focused on improving care delivery and outcomes for underserved and medically complex populations. Their Data & Technology team is investing heavily in modernizing and scaling its data ecosystem, creating a unique opportunity to help build a next-generation platform from the ground up. This is a true greenfield opportunity where you'll play a key role in designing data architecture, building cloud-based data infrastructure, and enabling analytics that support both operational and strategic decision-making. What You'll Do Design and build scalable data warehousing and data engineering solutions in AWS. Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Airflow. Integrate data from a variety of internal and external systems, APIs, and third-party sources. Help define data architecture, engineering standards, and best practices. Optimize data models, storage, and performance to support analytics and reporting. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data solutions that drive measurable outcomes. Required Qualifications 5+ years of data engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with AWS-based data platforms and cloud infrastructure. Proven success building and managing data pipelines in AWS. Deep experience with Apache Airflow. Strong Python and SQL skills. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting modern data warehouse environments. Ability to work independently and make architecture and technical design recommendations. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Snowflake and dbt. Exposure to healthcare, health data, or regulated data environments. Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, claims data, EHR systems, or HIPAA requirements. Ideal Candidate We're looking for a senior-level engineer who enjoys building from scratch, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can take ownership of data architecture decisions. This person should be comfortable balancing hands-on engineering work with strategic input on how a modern cloud data platform should evolve.
