Job Description
Our client, a Financial company, is looking for a Senior Big Data/Machine Learning Engineer for their McLean, VA location.
Responsibilities:
RISK - AML
Nexus is a data engineering team, that provides Customer data, Transaction, data Investigate data to AML for thorough job
This is within the Transaction Data to build data pipelines for AML use cases, eg: Wires pipeline, data from enterprise payments and process transform into one lake data lake
A big initiative for cash transactions in to this space, 20-30 Data pipelines building, reading data from various different LOBs, transforming and enriching to meet the quality expectations
Building Cash data pipeline, Client migration, how to use them for Cash Data pipeline
Pipelines are on PySpark, AWS Glue, & Snowflake
Requirements:
Hands on Data Engineer role with strong Python, PySpark, Data Engineering, SQL & AWS background
Build data pipelines, thorough testing, test data, validation, provide production support, for contingent staff workers
On call Support expectations, rotational basis, Wed-Wed once in a 6 week.
Top Skills:
5+ Yrs exp is a must
