Full Job Description Description:
In this role you will support MDA Targets and Countermeasures program in solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support. Job Description (What You'll Be Doing) Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data products Participate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendations Prepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of
Flight Test Targets Requirements:
Required Skills (What Required Skills You Bring) Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of experience, or Master's Degree with 12+ years experience. Interim Security clearance. Experience in a minimum of 2 of the following areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team Preferred Skills (Desired but not Required) B.S. in Engineering or Physics highly desired M.S. in Engineering or Physics Active Security Clearance desired. Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems Skilled in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Skilled in use of Matlab, and TAOS software Familiar with STK software Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons
