Purpose:
Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Senior Signature/Data Analyst in Huntsville, AL In this role you will work in MDA Targets and Countermeasures program for solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support
Job Description:
Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data products Participate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendations Prepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of
Flight Test Targets Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 20 years of experience, or master's degree with at least 12 years of experience. Must have experience in minimum of 2 of the following areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesy. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team
Desired Qualifications:
B.S. in Engineering or Physics highly desired M.S. in Engineering or Physics Active Security Clearance desired Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems Skilled in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Skilled in use of Matlab, and TAOS software Familiar with STK software Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons
Security Requirements:
Interim Security clearance, Active secret desired
Travel Requirements:
Minimal Travel; 15% or less If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another Communicating with others to exchange information Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
