Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field required. Coursework in financial accounting, data analytics, or business intelligence is preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience Requirements 1+ years of previous experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Business Intelligence Analyst. Experience working with large datasets, data collection, data validation, and data reporting. Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and data mining techniques. Experience with reporting and analytics tools, including Excel, Python, ETL tools, or Business Objects. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable business insights. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with Excel, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and other data analysis tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Physical Capabilities Ability to work in an office or hybrid professional environment. Frequent use of computers, data systems, and reporting software. Ability to remain seated and focused for extended periods while analyzing data and preparing reports. Job Duties Collect, organize, validate, and analyze data from multiple business sources. Develop and maintain databases, data collection systems, dashboards, and reporting processes. Use statistical methods and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. Create reports and visualizations that support leadership decision-making and operational improvements. Review data for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform data cleansing activities. Partner with management and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and reporting requirements. Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and actionable format. Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and performance analysis.
