We help clients navigate DOT and FMCSA requirements, maintain compliance, obtain necessary permits and registrations, and keep their businesses operating efficiently. We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented DOT Compliance Analyst to assist our clients with their day-to-day transportation compliance needs. Responsibilities Assist trucking companies and motor carriers with DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements Handle new and existing carrier compliance matters, including USDOT and operating authority-related requirements Assist with IRP registrations, renewals, supplements, and vehicle additions/deletions Assist with IFTA registrations, renewals, and compliance Process and track trucking permits, registrations, and related documentation Assist clients with UCR, BOC-3, and other required federal/state filings , as applicable Assist with FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements, including driver queries and compliance tracking Maintain and review Driver Qualification (DQ) files Review driver documentation, including CDLs, medical certificates, MVRs, applications, and other required records Assist with DOT drug and alcohol compliance and testing requirements Monitor expiration dates and ensure client documents, permits, and registrations remain current Assist clients with FMCSA audits, compliance reviews, and corrective documentation Review carrier information for missing or non-compliant documentation and follow up with clients Research
DOT/FMCSA
regulations and communicate requirements clearly to clients Maintain accurate electronic records and detailed notes for each client/account Communicate with clients by phone, email, and internal systems regarding outstanding requirements Work with state and federal agencies when necessary to resolve registration, permitting, or compliance issues Manage multiple client accounts, deadlines, and compliance matters simultaneously Perform other transportation compliance and operational duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in DOT compliance, trucking, transportation, motor carrier operations, permits, or a related field strongly preferred Knowledge of
FMCSA/DOT
regulations Experience with
IRP, IFTA, DOT
registrations, permits, or carrier compliance is highly preferred Familiarity with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and Driver Qualification files is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable researching regulations and resolving compliance issues Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate professionally with trucking company owners, drivers, government agencies, and internal staff Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and client accounts Comfortable using online government portals, email, spreadsheets, and web-based systems Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who understands that transportation compliance is detail-driven and deadline-sensitive. You should be comfortable researching an issue, communicating with a client, working through government portals, and following a compliance matter through to completion. Previous hands-on trucking/DOT compliance experience is strongly preferred.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
