Full Time - 30460 Quality Assistant About the Position Ampla Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Quality Assistant to support the Quality Department in improving patient care and healthcare quality outcomes. Under the direction of the Director of Quality, this position will assist with quality measure tracking, data reconciliation, staff training, patient outreach, and closing quality gaps related to HEDIS and UDS measures . Key Responsibilities Support the Quality Team with daily quality improvement activities. Review EHR and payer platform data to monitor and improve HEDIS and UDS quality measures. Train clinicians and care teams on quality measures, workflows, and performance expectations. Identify gaps in care and conduct patient outreach to help close quality measures using approved standing orders. Track patient services received outside of Ampla Health and obtain necessary documentation to support quality reporting. Monitor quality data by provider, care team, and clinical site to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide on-site support to clinical staff regarding quality workflows. Assist with Quality Assurance audits to ensure established workflows are being followed. Identify and report data discrepancies or outliers requiring further investigation. Collaborate with Quality Improvement Coordinators and other departments to support quality initiatives. Prepare data and reports for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities. Participate in committee meetings, staff meetings, and other required meetings. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Medical Assistant training or experience preferred. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Microsoft Word, and Excel. Ability to create spreadsheets and graphs. Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute . Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented. Ability to participate in meetings both in person and through Microsoft Teams. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Comfortable working in an office and healthcare environment. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff in person and by telephone. Ability to move/lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, and twist as needed. Ability to use computers and read documents, reports, and computer screens.
