Job Description
Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst IV to join a highly visible Data Governance organization supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can combine strong data governance knowledge with Power Automate expertise, project ownership, and polished communication. This position is W-2 only. We are not open to working with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core Responsibilities Lead and support technical projects across Data Governance, data cataloging, and process automation Build, maintain, and enhance workflows and solutions using Microsoft Power Automate / Power Platform Support the organizations enterprise data catalog, including metadata, integrations/connectors, documentation, validation, onboarding, and ongoing catalog maintenance Help connect data sources, databases, and data lake environments into the organizations centralized data catalog Develop technical requirements, specifications, process documentation, and use cases for new solutions Provide clear requirements and direction to development resources, including offshore team members, and help drive projects through completion Understand where enterprise data lives, how it flows between systems, and how it should be governed and documented Partner with technical and business teams to identify needs and develop scalable processes Participate in strategy, project tracking, discovery, and process-design meetings Support reporting and ad hoc data requests as needed Present project updates and solutions to senior and executive-level stakeholders Serve as a high-level technical partner to leadership and take ownership of projects with limited oversight Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate / Power Platform Experience within Data Governance, Data Management, or a closely related data environment Experience with an enterprise data cataloging / metadata management platform Alation is currently used, but experience with Informatica, Databricks cataloging capabilities, or similar tools is highly transferable Experience working with JSON Working knowledge of SQL Ability to understand data structures, integrations, data sources, and technical workflows Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Python Alation specifically Tableau / data visualization experience AI-related experience or demonstrated ability to quickly learn emerging technologies
