U.S. Citizen (ITAR Restricted role) Position Overview Cyient is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical RFQ & Storage Data Analyst to support critical procurement, inventory, and operational decision-making activities. This role will focus on analyzing Request for Quotation (RFQ) data, inventory storage utilization, and supply chain performance metrics to drive cost savings, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic planning initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, with experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, supply chain, or procurement environments. This individual will collaborate across Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Program Management teams to transform complex data into actionable business insights. Key ResponsibilitiesRFQ Analytics & Procurement Support Analyze RFQ data to identify pricing trends, supplier performance metrics, cost drivers, and sourcing opportunities. Support procurement teams by developing analytical tools and reports that improve supplier selection and negotiation strategies. Track and report key RFQ metrics, including quote turnaround times, supplier responsiveness, and cost reduction initiatives. Assist in forecasting and scenario modeling to support sourcing and procurement decisions. Storage & Inventory Analytics Analyze storage utilization, inventory levels, warehouse capacity, and material movement data to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities. Develop recommendations to improve inventory accuracy, storage utilization, and material flow. Monitor inventory trends and support initiatives focused on reducing excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory. Data Management & Reporting Collect, validate, cleanse, and maintain large datasets from ERP systems, databases, and operational reports. Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools. Perform root cause analysis of data discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve data integrity and reporting accuracy. Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline RFQ, inventory, and reporting processes through automation and data-driven decision making. Partner with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and develop reporting solutions. Support process improvement initiatives using analytical findings and industry best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, procurement analytics, inventory management, or supply chain operations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, lookup functions, and data modeling. Experience working with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, defense, or industrial environments. Knowledge of RFQ processes, procurement operations, and supplier performance metrics. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar platforms. Familiarity with inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or material planning concepts.
