We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Data & Analytics Program Lead to guide the development of a modern enterprise analytics environment for a financial services organization in Middletown, Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity with permanent potential will lead the rollout of Microsoft Fabric as a trusted reporting and analytics platform while delivering a high-impact initial use case that demonstrates measurable business value. The role combines program leadership, platform architecture, and cross-functional collaboration to create scalable data solutions, strengthen governance, and expand internal capability across business and technology teams.
Responsibilities:
- Shape the overall strategy for Microsoft Fabric, including platform governance, delivery planning, adoption methods, and long-term operating practices.
- Partner with leaders across finance, treasury, risk, compliance, operations, product, and technology to identify priority analytics initiatives and organize them into a value-driven roadmap.
- Architect and oversee solutions across Fabric capabilities such as OneLake, lakehouses, warehouses, data pipelines, notebooks, semantic models, Power BI, real-time analytics, and AI-enabled experiences.
- Direct the integration of data from Azure-based services, SharePoint, Salesforce, operational platforms, application telemetry, and approved identity or access-related sources.
- Establish enterprise standards for workspace design, naming conventions, deployment processes, monitoring, lineage tracking, lifecycle administration, backup planning, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Work closely with security, legal, IT, risk, and business data owners to enforce appropriate access controls, privacy safeguards, retention requirements, audit support, segregation of duties, and regulatory alignment.
- Define data management practices covering ownership, stewardship, quality controls, reconciliation methods, master and reference data usage, and certification criteria for trusted reporting assets.
- Lead delivery of the initial Fed Account Management analytics use case, including ingestion, transformation, reporting, dashboard development, analysis, forecasting, alerting, and future machine learning opportunities.
- Manage platform performance, licensing, capacity, cost, and usage trends while recommending improvements that optimize efficiency and support sustainable growth.
- Produce program documentation and communications such as milestone plans, risk logs, executive updates, training content, runbooks, data dictionaries, and knowledge transfer materials, while reporting on adoption, reliability, quality, and business value metrics.
