Job Description Senior Data Analyst Wilmington, DE Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 Hybrid We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst with 8+ years of experience who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate is skilled at translating ambiguous business needs into clear analytics and BI requirements, working confidently across enterprise and offline datasets, and has hands-on experience with querying and visualization tools. Familiarity with the US trust business is essential for this role. Some of the things you will be doing: Partner with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and document analytics and BI requirements. Analyze enterprise and offline datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications. Design wireframes and mockups for dashboards and reports prior to development. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data. Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and/or Domo. Apply logical reasoning and structured problem-solving to troubleshoot data discrepancies and validate outputs. Create and maintain clear documentation, including requirement specifications, data dictionaries, and process flows. Collaborate with data engineering, product, and business teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of insights. Stay current with emerging analytics and visualization platforms, and proactively learn new tools as needed. Apply domain knowledge of the US trust business to ensure data interpretations and BI solutions align with industry context and regulatory nuances. What technical skills, experience, and qualifications are required? 8+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. Strong understanding of analytics and BI requirement gathering processes. Proven experience working with enterprise datasets as well as offline/manual data sources. Strong data analysis skills - able to interpret data, identify trends, and derive business insights. Experience creating wireframes for dashboards/reports before development. Strong logical reasoning and analytical problem-solving abilities. Excellent documentation skills, including writing clear and detailed requirement specifications. Proficiency in SQL and querying tools (e.g., SQL Developer). Hands-on working experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Domo. Willingness and ability to quickly learn new analytics/visualization platforms. Must have prior knowledge/experience in the US trust business (e.g., trust accounting, trust administration, fiduciary services, or related financial/regulatory frameworks). Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in financial services, wealth management, or fiduciary/trust operations. Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices. Exposure to agile/scrum delivery methodologies for BI projects.
