Job Purpose:

The Data Analyst role is heavy on data entry and maintenance within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), with a primary focus on creating, managing, and analyzing master data to support day-to-day business operations and ad-hoc reporting needs across the organization.

The analyst will work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and timely reporting. This position plays a key role in maintaining core business data and supporting system users.

Responsibilities and Associated Duties:

Create and maintain item, pricing, fee, customer, vendor, delivery, and other master data to support business operations in D365Support ad-hoc reporting requests using SQL and available reporting toolsExtract, analyze, and validate data from ERP systems to support operational and financial reportingEnsure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across system recordsAssist business users with data-related requests and troubleshootingIdentify opportunities to improve data processes and system efficiencyWork with Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT teams to ensure accurate system configuration and reporting outputsDocument processes related to ERP data maintenance and reporting proceduresSupport the Business Analysis Manager and team with additional tasks and projects as needed

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) (required)Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis (required)Bachelors degree or 3+ years experience in a data support role preferredPrior experience working with ERP systems (D365 F&O preferred)Experience managing or maintaining operational or financial data within business systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to interpret business requirements and translate them into data or reporting solutionsStrong attention to detail and data accuracyEffective communication and collaboration skillsExperience with data visualization tools, such as Power BIWorks independently and takes ownership of results, while also collaborating well with the teamStays organized and focused while managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
