Job Description

Expected pay for this position is $29.84-$44.75. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

Performs data collection, analysis, and monitoring of data to identify business needs, perform trend calculations, and provide recommendations and consultation to assist in guiding business decisions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required in one of the following: Data Analytics Business Analytics Computer Science Information Systems Healthcare Administration Health Information Management Statistics Mathematics Finance Accounting Public Health Related field Hospital or similar healthcare experience required. CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or CHDA (Certified Health Data Analyst) strongly preferred. Certification as six sigma black belt preferred. Cerner experience preferred. Strong project management, interpersonal, and change management skills, including the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Results-oriented. Experience leading projects to closure. Preferred three years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following: Healthcare analytics Business intelligence Decision support Data analysis Financial analysis Quality reporting Healthcare operations
JOB KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrated ability in financial and operational systems. Technical knowledge of Excel and familiar with word processing applications. Knowledge of hospital quality metrics, patient safety indicators, CMS and JC standards.

Develop reliable enterprise reporting that supports timely decision-making. Deliver accurate reports within established timelines. Improve reporting automation and efficiency. Maintain high standards of data integrity and report validation. Build meaningful dashboards that promote organizational transparency. Support executive leadership with actionable analytics. Promote standardized organizational reporting practices. Develop documentation that ensures continuity of reporting processes. Demonstrate excellent customer service while supporting all hospital departments. Maintain current knowledge of healthcare analytics, reporting technologies, and regulatory reporting requirements. Must have the ability to work with a variety of people of diverse populations (e.g. cultural diversity, employee workforce, ages from adult through geriatrics, hearing impaired, physical and mental disabilities and variety of educational and cognitive levels).
