The analyst is astute at understanding the operational, political, and circumstantial realities that data may indicate and can succinctly communicate that in a cohesive and visually appealing way through appropriate means such as dashboards, slide decks, visually appealing spreadsheets, etc. The analyst anticipates the users of data and reporting and tailors a core presentation with contingencies to appease the needs of applicable stakeholders, including state departments of health, managed care organizations, plan members, legislative delegations, healthcare facilities, independent transportation providers, internal staff, and board leadership / shareholders. The analyst can work effectively across the organization, engaging necessary resources, intuiting needs and connecting dots beyond immediate tasks. This position will heavily interface and collaborate with seasoned in-house and contracted technological resources, including engineering, product, etc. Essential Functions
  • Interface in a collaborative and empowered manner in support of a dynamic, cohesive executive team - inclusive of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Quality and Compliance Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Product Officer and other organizational / departmental leaders.
  • Function as a subject matter expert in organizational technology systems and the ways in which data can be derived and utilized to support meaningful insights for national health plans, large corporations, and other stakeholders that effectively meet needs in the level of sophistication and communication required.
  • Efficiently and accurately compile large amounts of complex information into organized, auditable source files that feed polished and tested data presentations.
  • Communicate with confidence and comfort when asked to speak to or present on data in an informed manner.
  • Ability to conduct forensic analytics to determine instances of fraud, waste, and abuse.
  • Understand and investigate industry trends, developments, and new mandated services and work directly with applicable contacts to understand the data insights required that will inform meaningful talking points, action plans, and decision making. Minimum Required Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering / analytics, business, public health, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 1 year of professional experience or relevant coursework with evidence-based sample in meaningful data compilation (ex. presentation file, data / financial model, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel, PowerBI, and/or other experience with data visualization tools required.
  • Specific data analytics, reporting, and presentation experience, including healthcare data systems (EMR) experience preferred.
  • Proactive and investigative developing analytical leader who can visualize and anticipate needs, questions, outcomes, etc.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid programs, Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), public healthcare policy and compliance, and other healthcare industry specialty preferred.
  • Be comfortable in a collaborative, high-production, meaningful-impact environment.

Salary:
$50,960 - $62,400
