We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the Global Technology Services (GTS) Control Tower team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and performance optimization, along with hands-on experience in ETL processes and big data technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality dashboards, insights, and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for KPIs and business insights Build and optimize semantic data models using DAX (measures, calculated columns, relationships) Perform ETL processes using Power Query (M) Optimize report performance and scalability (DAX tuning, model efficiency) Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and business teams to solve complex data problems Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations, and reporting standards

Required Skills:

Advanced experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and ETL processes Strong expertise in performance optimization (especially DAX and data models) Proficiency in SQL Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema preferred) Ability to work with large datasets and complex systems Portfolio showcasing Power BI/reporting work (non-confidential data)

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certifications (PL-300, DP-600, DP-700) Experience with Microsoft Fabric Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases Familiarity with data pipelines, medallion architecture Strong focus on UX, data visualization, and accessibility

Experience Required:

5 10+ years in Data Analytics / BI / Data Engineering
