SALARY RANGE
$143,000 - $200,000/year. DUTIES As a successful candidate for the Systems Engineer III role, you will support analytical engineering, data analysis, and system modeling activities across mission-critical systems and enterprise environments. You will work closely with government stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate mission requirements into technical solutions across the full system lifecycle. In this capacity, you will conduct technical and quantitative analyses, develop system models, support architecture frameworks, and deliver actionable insights that inform key engineering decisions and enhance overall mission system performance. QUALIFICATIONS
Twenty (20) years of experience as a System Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, along with a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional systems engineering experience (25 years total) may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
Demonstrated experience in:
Performing system requirements analysis and translating operational requirements into technical solutions. Supporting data analysis, system modeling, or analytical evaluation of complex systems. Analyzing system performance metrics, operational data, or technical datasets to inform engineering decisions. Supporting system architecture development and engineering documentation. Conducting technical analysis, modeling, or trade studies to evaluate system capabilities and performance. Supporting system integration, testing, and verification activities. Supporting system lifecycle engineering activities, including requirements development, architecture design, integration, and sustainment. Developing or analyzing system architectures using engineering frameworks such as DoDAF. Collaborating with engineering teams, analysts, and government stakeholders. Developing technical reports, analytical documentation, or engineering assessments. Desired Skills Supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) programs. Performing data analysis using tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, or similar analytical platforms. Developing system models, simulations, or performance analysis tools. Supporting system architecture modeling using DoDAF or model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approaches. Analyzing large datasets or operational performance data to support mission systems. Supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, or secure system architectures. Supporting engineering trade studies, system performance optimization, or mission analysis.
