Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in data management and analytics, is seeking a Data Operations Analyst to join their team. As a Data Operations Analyst, you will be part of the Enterprise Data Platform - Capacity Management Team supporting capacity planning, operational insights, and data governance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

- What's the Job?
- + Monitor and resolve HDFS and Ozone related issues to ensure data platform stability.
+ Investigate cluster performance, storage utilization, and capacity-related concerns to optimize operations.
+ Manage quota requests, storage allocation, and support capacity planning activities.
+ Assist with application onboarding and data platform integration activities to streamline processes.
+ Coordinate with application teams during incident resolution and problem management to minimize downtime.
- What's Needed?
- + Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies such as HDFS, Hive, Spark, and Ozone.
+ Proficiency in supporting large-scale data warehouse environments on Hadoop platforms.
+ Experience with data ingestion, ETL processes, and data validation techniques.
+ Shell scripting and Python automation skills to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Strong SQL and data analytics skills with a demonstrated ability in executive reporting and storytelling.
