Job Description

General Summary:
The Master Data Specialist is responsible for executing requests for all material master creation (FERT, HALB, HAWA, ROH, VERP, etc.), changes and maintenance with respect to company processes and procedures. This position is the central point for data maintenance and requires collaboration with Master Data Coordinator as well as cross functional departments. This position will develop master data business rules and processes that support operational efficiency throughout the organization.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Set up all new materials in SAP for NC and NJ including but not limited to: Color Match Request Lab Work Request Additional Container Request Private Label/Drop Ships Special Developmental Materials (DVP) Reverse Private Label Materials (APPs) Reactions

  • Packaging New Production Versions and Alt Bom's New Systems from Innovation Lab. Maintain master file on all new setups of material types listed above, plus DVP (developmental codes), New System Branding materials. All maintained on Shared H Drive. Execute Formula Revisions provided by Technical group. SAP entry of RM Replacements 1:1. Directed from Technical group. Commericalization of Materials

Update Label classifications, requirements and customer facing information within GHS label in Master Data Maintain Material Management files for Material Master Data. Update material status "Dangerous Goods" in SAP to be in compliance with regulations. Directed from coordinator or EH&S. Month End Material list uploaded to H drive Annual physical inventory key role in Materials Management group Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2-5 years data entry experience Minimum 2 year's SAP experience or Bachelor's degree in related field in lieu of experience. Minimum 2-5 years' Microsoft Office experience including Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent communication skills Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize work based on business demands. Physical Demands and Work Environment This is primarily an office position which requires extensive sitting at a desk and working with a computer and on the phone > 80% Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information. Ability to observe, identify and determine details at close range.
