Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to gather data from diverse sources like SQL databases, Oracle, Talend, or custom scripts using Python, Bash (Unix shell), or VBA. Collaborate within Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, and deployment of analytics solutions. Utilize SQL queries to manage query optimization and ensure accurate data extraction from large datasets stored in SQL Server or Oracle databases. Apply data visualization techniques to create intuitive dashboards that support business analysis and strategic planning efforts. Engage in business analysis activities by interpreting data trends and providing insights that influence operational improvements or new initiatives. Maintain documentation using tools like Visio for process mapping or technical specifications to support ongoing system enhancements. Support the integration of linked data sources and ensure data quality through validation checks and continuous monitoring. Qualifications Proven experience with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle; strong query management skills are essential. Proficiency in data analytics tools including R, Python, VBA, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and Talend for comprehensive analysis and visualization tasks. Solid understanding of database design principles and experience with ETL processes for efficient data integration. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Agile to facilitate smooth project execution from conception through deployment. Ability to analyze complex datasets using Excel data analysis techniques combined with advanced analysis skills for business intelligence purposes. Familiarity with technical concepts like linked data architecture and software development lifecycle analysis enhances your ability to deliver scalable solutions. Strong business analysis skills with a focus on requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and reporting/dashboarding tool development.
