Job Description
Skill:
QA Automation Lead (Python & API Testing)Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- Strong experience in QA Automation Testing with at least 10 years of overall testing experience.
- Hands-on experience in Python Automation Framework Development.
- Strong expertise in API Testing using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Postman, and automation tools.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of API validation, data verification, and backend testing.
- Experience with SQL and database validations.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of Banking and Financial Services applications.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks using Python.
- Define and maintain API automation test strategies for banking applications.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test coverage.
- Review test cases and automation scripts developed by team members.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive defect resolution with development teams.
- Ensure test automation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Create automation metrics, dashboards, and status reports for stakeholders.
- Mentor QA team members and establish testing best practices.
- Support release validation and production readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
