Job Description Insight Global is hiring a data analyst to support Prudential's enterprise metadata and data governance initiatives. In this role, you'll partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to drive metadata onboarding, data catalog adoption, and governance best practices across multiple business domains. You'll facilitate workshops to define business glossaries, metadata standards, and governance requirements, while helping teams improve data discoverability, stewardship, and compliance. Additionally, you'll identify governance gaps, metadata quality issues, and adoption challenges, develop implementation guidance and training materials, and support enterprise-wide governance programs. This is a highly collaborative role that combines stakeholder engagement, metadata management, governance strategy, and hands-on execution to help increase the value and usability of Prudential's data assets.   • Deep understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, business glossary management, data lineage, stewardship, data governance principles, and enterprise metadata standards.
  • Experience leading metadata onboarding, domain activation, data product onboarding, and data catalog adoption initiatives across large organizations.
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Product Owners, SMEs, and technology teams to define business glossaries, metadata requirements, governance standards, and adoption strategies.
  • Experience developing and implementing metadata standards, cataloging policies, governance playbooks, stewardship models, and adoption frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data mesh principles, governed data access, and domain-driven governance operating models.
  • Ability to identify and resolve metadata quality issues, governance gaps, catalog adoption challenges, and data discoverability concerns while improving business value.
  • Experience developing strategic roadmaps, stakeholder communications, change management plans, and governance initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional governance programs, influencing stakeholders, managing priorities, and delivering results in complex environments.
  • Ability to leverage emerging technologies and innovative approaches to enhance Data Management and Governance practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
Experience with data governance, metadata, catalog, marketplace, and stewardship platforms such as Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Atlan, Alation, Denodo, or similar tools.
