Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support master data operations in Park Ridge, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining data accuracy, strengthening reporting support, and helping business teams manage critical information efficiently. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments, investigate data issues, and contribute to process improvements that support reliable day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain master data records in enterprise systems to support business needs and operational accuracy. Partner with cross-functional teams to understand how core data elements connect to internal workflows and business activities. Work closely with departments across the organization to ensure timely, complete, and accurate entry of critical data. Support communication among stakeholders to improve coordination, clarify data requirements, and streamline information flow. Help develop practical templates, reference materials, and process documentation to improve routine master data activities. Extract, organize, and prepare data from multiple tables to assist with reporting, uploads, and business requests. Review data for inconsistencies, investigate discrepancies, and take corrective action to improve data quality. Provide additional support on assigned master data tasks and contribute to ongoing process enhancement efforts. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience. 1-2 years of experience working with ERP platforms. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including hands-on use of VLOOKUPs for data review and analysis. Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a consistent focus on accuracy and detail. Well-organized approach to tracking updates, maintaining audit trails, and managing multiple priorities by business impact. Exposure to master data, business analysis, or supply chain environments is considered an advantage.
