The Fee For Service Program Associate Data Analyst will: Review and process suspended claims; Keep claim notes updated for tracking and audit purposes; Identify system issues and submit memos to rectify; Review and analyze reports; Conduct research and provide analysis; Update internal guides and workflows, including policy review, guidance and revisions; Participate in meetings. How does it get done? The The Fee For Service Program Associate Data Analyst is responsible for: Conducting research to identify and evaluate complex issues that impact suspended claims and locations; Clarifying, developing, and implementing Medicaid policies for current and new programs with the Fee for Service Unit (FFS); Addressing and resolving complex Medicaid issues that may require collaborating with other Medicaid bureaus, divisions and/or agencies. Who are the customers? Medicaid clients, providers, Health Care Authority (HCA) and other agency staff and managers. Ideal Candidate Medicaid clients, providers, Health Care Authority (HCA) and other agency staff and managers. Minimum Qualification High School diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of experience directly related to the position in research, statistics, computer science, data analysis, accounting, auditing, finance, economics, business, public administration, budgeting, management, and/or systems analysis or related professional certification as determined by the hiring agency. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) months may substitute for the required experience. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must obtain a Defensive Driving certification. Working Conditions Office setting, exposure to Visual/Video Display terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
