Job Description
About the Role ARC and 1582 process and maintain medical records for firefighters and law enforcement personnel across 6 states. This role sits at the intersection of quality assurance and data operations — you'll ensure records are accurate, compliant, and flowing through efficient workflows that our QA team, billing department, and leadership rely on every day. If you want work that's technical and has a clear public-safety mission behind it, this is that role. Your Impact Review and audit medical records for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance Identify and resolve errors or discrepancies in medical documentation, collaborating directly with healthcare providers as needed Work with leadership, the QA team, and billing to streamline workflows and produce recurring reports Create how-to guides and SOPs that document processes and keep the team accountable Troubleshoot and upgrade existing workflows and reports over time Maintain all records in a secure, confidential manner in line with HIPAA requirements Who You Are Bachelor's degree 2-5 years of relevant post-education experience working with data and process improvement Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 products, including complex formulas and tables in Excel Working knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems Quick to learn new applications and technologies Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment Clear communicator, able to explain complex data simply to non-technical stakeholders Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team Compensation & Benefits 401(k) Generous PTO package
