Division Order & Unclaimed Property Analyst (Temp)

Month Temporary AssignmentPay:
Equivalent of $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experiencePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Division Order & Unclaimed Property Analyst for a short-term project with a growing midstream organization in North Oklahoma City. This role will focus on reviewing and processing unclaimed property and escheatment activities while supporting division order functions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically within a midstream environment, and possess a strong understanding of owner records, compliance requirements, and division order processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesReview and research outstanding owner payments and unclaimed property items.

Prepare and process escheatment filings in accordance with applicable state regulations.

Analyze owner records and identify discrepancies requiring correction or follow-up.

Support division order activities, including ownership maintenance, transfer documentation, and ownership updates.

Research returned mail, stale-dated checks, and dormant accounts to determine proper disposition.

Ensure compliance with company policies and state unclaimed property requirements.

Coordinate with accounting, land, and owner relations teams to resolve ownership and payment issues.

Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records related to unclaimed property and division order transactions.

Assist with special projects and data cleanup efforts related to ownership and revenue records.
