Data Analyst (Power BI/SQL)
Location:
Conshohocken, PA Salary:
$70,000 - $85,000 Overview We are seeking a Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to support reporting, analytics, and data visualization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI and SQL, along with a solid foundation in data modeling and analytics best practices. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and data analysis Build and manage data models following dimensional modeling best practices Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting solutions Support data governance initiatives including metadata, lineage, and quality standards Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role Strong proficiency in Power BI (dashboards, reports, datasets) Advanced SQL skills for querying and data manipulation Experience with DAX and Power Query (M) Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, semantic models) Familiarity with Azure cloud services and modern data architectures Experience with version control tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Git) Exposure to data governance concepts Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field Certifications Microsoft Power BI or Data Analytics certification preferred Technical Skills Power BI (dashboards, datasets, paginated reports, workspace management) SQL and relational databases Microsoft Fabric and Azure (preferred) Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
