Job Description

The Cervantes Group is seeking to hire a dynamic and passionate Data Analyst to join our team. The chosen candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. An analytic, numbers-driven professional, the Data Analyst will utilize extensive data sets to draw insights and make informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collecting and interpreting data from multiple sources, then convert it into actionable insights. Analyze trends, patterns and relationships in data and construct predictive models to achieve organizational objectives. Deliver reports to the upper management and formulate strategies to solve business problems. Monitor data integrity and quality, and correct any inconsistencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions. Develop and manage data visualization tools and databases. Communicating and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field required. A Master's Degree is preferred. At least 2 years' experience in data analysis or a related role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, R and Python. Knowledge in statistical methodologies and data modeling is a plus. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc. Strong presentation and communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical clients. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment.
