Job Description
The Data Analyst is a remote, work from home position and is responsible for supporting internal clients through strategic analyses of pharmacy data. This position will utilize analytic tools to provide insight that allows the company and our clients to make better informed decisions in various areas such as pharmacy benefit plan performance, claims forecasting, pricing savings analyses, member disruption, key initiatives and auditing. They will need to demonstrate the ability to collaborate cross functionally and partners to drive success. This is data analyst will leverage our core competencies: Problem Solving & Decision Making, Accountability & Responsibility, Communication, Collaboration & Teamwork, and Customer Focus to delivery best in class healthcare products. Related products include SQL (Snowflake), pharmacy claim files and data.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
+ Analyze detailed claims data from internal claims processing system and external sources in various formats. + Critical thinker that is comfortable supporting collaborative problem solving in a team environment. + Benchmark, validate and test the solution for real-world environments. + Develop analytic solutions to meet operational/strategic business needs, including contributing to new projects, while supporting and enhancing existing solutions. + Assist in defining, developing, designing, prototyping, testing, and supporting the implementation of analytics. + Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across models and reports. + Translate business requirement into actionable intelligence to business leaders. + Work closely with solution architects to design scalable, efficient data solutions that support large datasets. + Strong understanding of data warehousing, data pipelines, and data visualization tools. + Adhering to RxBenefits's Information Security Management System as well as all other company policies. + Driven self-starter who is creative and results oriented; manages multiple priorities and deadlines. + Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless development and implementation of analytics features and ability to report on progress to executive leaders as needed. + Collaborate with data engineers, technology architects and product developers to design data pipelines, models, and visualizations. + All other duties as assigned.
