Job Description

firstPRO is seeking a Data Quality Specialist who will support enterprise Master Data Management initiatives by reviewing and remediating data exceptions, performing data cleansing, and ensuring master data is accurate, complete, and consistent with established governance standards. Responsibilities Review and remediate fallout records from MDM match/merge and entity resolution processes. Research data exceptions, apply business rules, and validate match/merge and survivorship results. Perform data cleansing, standardization, deduplication, formatting corrections, and attribute validation. Execute authorized bulk data updates and corrections following established procedures. Monitor data quality reports, dashboards, and exception queues. Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring data quality issues. Partner with Data Governance, Data Stewards, MDM Operations, and business stakeholders to resolve complex data issues. Document remediation decisions and maintain appropriate audit trails. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Operations. Experience with an MDM platform, such as Informatica or similar. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, filtering, and data cleansing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to interpret business rules, matching logic, and survivorship frameworks. Experience with match/merge or entity resolution preferred. Basic SQL experience preferred. Familiarity with data governance and data quality standards preferred. Experience with customer, partner, or other party master data is a plus.
Assignment Details Duration:
6 months with potential to extend
Schedule:
Hybrid — 2 days onsite per week; Thursday is the required team onsite day
Hours:
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with some flexibility
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
