W2 Contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced EHS Data Strategy & Reporting Analyst to support a large-scale Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) systems integration and reporting initiative . This role will focus on modernizing EHS data and reporting processes by developing structured data models, improving enterprise data flows, and creating reliable, automated dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Maximo , along with the ability to clean and structure complex datasets, integrate multiple systems, and translate operational and compliance data into actionable reporting. Key Responsibilities Design structured data models supporting EHS reporting, compliance, and KPI tracking Develop and improve Power BI dashboards , including DAX, dataflows, and semantic models Rebuild and standardize existing dashboards to improve accuracy, reliability, and usability Work with Maximo data structures, fields, workflows, and system logic Define and document data flows across Maximo, Power BI, SharePoint, ClearPoint, and other enterprise systems Develop scalable processes for data intake, cleaning, transformation, validation, and reporting Migrate legacy and manually maintained reports into structured and automated dashboards Integrate data across multiple enterprise systems to reduce manual reporting and improve access to real-time information Perform detailed data QA/QC to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency Troubleshoot data discrepancies, system inconsistencies, and dashboard errors Maintain documentation covering dashboard logic, calculations, assumptions, business rules, and data transformations Coordinate project tasks, timelines, documentation, and deliverables Track project progress and communicate updates to EHS, IT, operations, leadership, and other stakeholders Qualifications Approximately 5-10 years of relevant professional experience Strong experience with data modeling, data architecture, and structured datasets Advanced proficiency with Power BI , including DAX, dataflows, semantic models, and dashboard development Experience working with IBM Maximo data structures and system logic Strong data cleansing, restructuring, validation, and QA/QC skills Experience integrating data across enterprise systems Ability to design or support automated data pipelines and reporting processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to document technical processes, data transformations, and business rules clearly Experience managing small projects, strategic workstreams, or process-improvement initiatives Familiarity with project management tools and techniques such as WBS, Gantt charts, schedules, stakeholder coordination, and task tracking Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams Experience with EHS, safety, environmental, operational, or compliance data is highly valuable Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science , or a related discipline preferred. An equivalent combination of education and professional experience may also be considered. Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) or a comparable data analytics certification is preferred. Work Arrangement This is a hybrid position that can be based in either Albany or White Plains, NY , requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite per week , with the possibility of additional onsite days depending on business needs. Candidates must be able to meet the onsite requirements for their selected location. This is a W2 hourly contract opportunity . Fully remote work is not available. #IND123
