Job Requirements Ashburn, VA Public Trust Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified $65,000 - $85,000 Job Description Data Analyst Remote Blu Omega is seeking a Data Analyst to support a federal program focused on data analysis and insights. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights to inform mission-critical decision-making. The position requires experience supporting data analysis, visualization, and scripting within a federal environment.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination Responsibilities- Analyze, clean, transform, and interpret structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop analytics and visualizations using data science and statistical analysis techniques
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, charts, and graphs to communicate data effectively
- Use Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar tools to create interactive dashboards and data-driven reports
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to refine analysis requests and define objectives
- Establish and track KPIs and metrics to support decision-making
- Identify automation opportunities to streamline data analysis and reporting processes
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations communicating analytical findings clearly
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and quality when handling large and complex datasets Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
- 2+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing data using software such as Python, SQL, R, or SAS
- Experience developing visualizations with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Skilled in communicating analytical insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of automation and process improvement for data workflows
- Ability to work accurately with large datasets and maintain attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, information technology, computer science, or related field Nice to Have
- Experience integrating big data platforms or enterprise data sources into analytics solutions
- Familiarity with Power Apps or Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience with ETL and data movement technologies such as StreamSets, Databricks, or Jupyter Notebooks
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or DevOps practices
- Experience supporting federal government, health, or mission-driven environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
