Job Description The Corporate Device Modeling and Technology Characterization Group within Microchip has a position for a Technical Staff Device Modeling and Measurement Engineer to join our team to help support the development of compact device models and characterize new technologies. This individual will perform characterization of electrical devices and develop models to closely replicate their behavior, for use in circuit design simulations. Leveraging the utilization of technologies through a resourceful understanding of device behaviors, to improve analog precision, reduce power consumption and reduce physical circuit size. This individual will work with circuit design engineers to solve simulation problems. This person will have opportunities to create their own test structures, mentor junior engineers, create and support code generation for measurement, document procedures and support troubleshooting throughout the device modeling process.
