Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Science intern for our Summer 2027 internship program. Our Data science teams here at the DriveTime Family of Brands support several different business verticals including; Marketing, Lending, Indirect Lending and Warranties. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge technologies. A successful candidate should have experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and other statistical or analytical coding tools, along with a strong understanding of the full Data Science life cycle. The data science interns will be responsible for things like: Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making processes Assist in developing and implementing data models, algorithms, and predictive models Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to extract knowledge and patters from data Assist with developing innovative ways to increase data intelligence within the business Present results of analysis to leaders and colleagues So what are we looking for? Bachelors or master's student with a graduation date between December 2027 - May 2028 Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline You have a GPA of 3.5 or higher Able to read and write in Python Working knowledge in SQL, Tableau and Excel An understanding of the Data Science Life Cycle Our internship program is 11 weeks starting May 2027 - August 2027 Internships will be base our of our Home offices in Tempe, AZ and Dallas, TX You can expect a regular on-site schedule; Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week Relocation not provided for internship So What About the Perks?
