We are seeking a Data Scientist for an 8-month contract position based in Mountain View, California. Responsibilities Evaluate and implement technologies within semantic layers, knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, and AI/agent tooling Develop data science solutions and guide projects from initial evaluation through adoption Work with SQL to manage data definitions and semantic content Collaborate with multiple technical and business teams, including external stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions Communicate technical trade-offs, recommendations, and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Qualifications Required Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: semantic layers, knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, or AI/agent tooling Strong SQL skills, including working with data definitions and semantic content Proficiency with Python in a data science environment Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and technologies Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously Experience partnering with multiple technical and business teams, including external stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining technical trade-offs and recommendations
