Job Description
Data Scientist
PHC Global Data Science Remote Posted on Aug 29, 2026 PHC Global is hiring a Data Scientist to turn biodefense and public-health data into predictive insight and decision-ready tools. Reporting to Engineering leadership, you will build and validate models against real epidemiological, wastewater, and other biothreat data, and prototype the applied-AI tooling to let a small team analyze at a scale that traditional data science does not allow. This is a hybrid data science / applied-AI role for someone who wants to own analysis end to end — from a messy, half-documented dataset through a defensible answer — rather than hand off a clean question to someone else. You will work alongside PHC Global's data engineers, epidemiologists, and product engineers, and you should be as comfortable digging for an answer yourself as briefing it once you have one. PHC Global is an AI-forward organization. You will be expected to use AI agents and modern tooling, with your judgment governing every output. You will join a diverse team of epidemiologists, engineers, data scientists, front-line disease controllers, and national security practitioners. See more open positions at PHC Global
