Job Description We are seeking a Sr. Lead Data Scientist to lead data science standards and delivery patterns that improve reuse, adoption, and measured business outcomes across Royal Caribbean Group in the SmartStock program. SmartStock is a critical program for Royal Caribbean Group to transform the way hotel, food and beverage products are procured leveraging AI demand forecasts. This role emphasizes Data Science ownership of delivered business value: framing the right problem, building and validating ML/optimization/GenAI solutions, partnering on deployment, monitoring performance, and driving adoption in production. The ideal candidate combines statistical and machine learning depth with practical business judgment, strong stakeholder partnership, and the ability to convert analytical work into measurable outcomes rather than isolated prototypes. • 7+ years of experience in a Data Science role, 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Proven track record delivering ML, optimization, or GenAI solutions into production environments.
• Strong Python expertise and hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
• Experience applying optimization techniques, simulation, and prescriptive analytics to business challenges.
• Expertise with GenAI technologies, including Azure AI Foundry, GPT models, RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Advanced experience with Databricks, Spark, SQL, MLOps, and production-scale data science workflows.

Strong software engineering, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
