  • You will be the Data Scientist Sr for the FORCE Operations Data/AI team. Our team is responsible for providing MFC-wide support.
  • What You Will Be Doing
  • As the Data Scientist Sr you will be responsible for turning stakeholder AI and data needs into actionable models, guiding projects from prototype through production, and maintaining existing data products.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Apply AI and data‑science techniques to support manufacturing‑operations programs. + Identify and execute opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into existing FORCE products. + Develop and lead the team's AI strategy and partner with stakeholders to define business problems. + Develop prototypes and advance them to production‑ready products. + Maintain and enhance the legacy FORCE product suite.

  • Basic Qualifications
  • + Completed Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Computer Science, AI/Data Science/Analytics, or other Engineering discipline. + Experience with structured and unstructured data for descriptive/diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical needs + Working level experience in SQL + Proficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g. NumPy, Pandas)
  • Desired Skills
  • + Knowledge of MLOps pipeline and modern machine learning techniques + Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Git [GitLab, GitHub], Continuous Integration [CI], Continuous Deployment [CD] + Familiarity interfacing with databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.
) + Experience with Computer Vision and other Deep Learning techniques + Experience with C++, Java, GO, and other compiled languages + Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn + Experience with AWS or another cloud computing platform + Expertise navigating, developing, and working with
EDW SAP HANA
database + Extensive working knowledge developing in Tableau - data models, visualizations, maintenance + Experience with/in one or more of the Operations related business functions such as Prod Ops, Quality, PP&C, GSC, Engineering + Strong experience in MFC ERP systems (SAP, Apriso, etc) + Experience with or knowledge of data engineering and associated best practices, and software/data security considerations

Full-Time Salary Range:
$98100.00 - $182100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. + For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
