Job Title Senior Data Scientist What does a successful Senior Data Scientist do at Fiserv? A successful Senior Data Scientist at Fiserv designs, builds, and maintains data science solutions that support business goals and client needs. They partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into clear technical approaches and deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes. They set a strong engineering bar through testing, peer reviews, and mentoring to help the team scale. What you will do? Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions to support Fiserv business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform development, testing, and debugging to ensure performance and reliability. Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to strengthen team capabilities. What you must have? 6+ years of experience in software development (or equivalent combination of education/experience/military). 3+ years of experience with 1+ programming language (Java, C, C#, C++, or similar). 3+ years of experience with SQL databases. 3+ years of experience with 1+ cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). What would be nice to have? 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 3+ years of experience working in Agile methodologies. 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
