Bill of Material Model Developer

Bill of Material Model Developer Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain as accurate catalog database to provide an interface with our manufacturing production system to ensure accurate cut lists of component parts for production. Develop mathematical formulas to provide full capabilities of parametric functions Maintain cabinet codes, size availability and pricing for order entry Orders previewed daily for accuracy and integrity Maintain open communications with Engineering, Order Editors, Detailers, Inventory, and Manufacturing. Keep an accurate informational system, stay up to date on engineering and manufacturing processes and changes. Follow priority procedures. Provide information to management as needed. Perform other duties as required.

Education:

A.S. Degree in Business or related field or Technical School Graduate or comparable work experience

Work Experience:

Familiarity with cabinet components and cabinet construction. Wood-Mode product knowledge. Read and understand standard prints and documentation.

Special Skills:

Efficient organizational skills are a necessity. Use of Microsoft Excel and use of formulas, excellent data entry, math and communication skills are essential. Must be able to prioritize tasks. Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with Visual Basic, Smart Price, M.S. Office, AutoCAD, Auto Desk Vault and 20-20 a plus.
