- Duties Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms tailored for UAVs and robotic systems, focusing on real-time perception and scene understanding.
Implement machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI tools to train models for object detection, tracking, segmentation, and scene classification. Conduct large-scale model training using cloud platforms like AWS, ensuring scalable deployment for autonomous applications. Explore unsupervised learning techniques and generative AI approaches to enhance model robustness and adaptability in unstructured environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integrating AI models into embedded systems utilizing C++, C#, Python, and Java for efficient deployment on Linux-based platforms. Perform statistical analysis and data mining on sensor data streams including signal processing to improve model accuracy and reliability. Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences to contribute to the scientific community's understanding of machine vision for autonomy. Engage in research & development activities focused on algorithm design, model deployment, and system integration for robotics applications involving natural language processing and quantum engineering concepts. Strong programming skills in Python; proficiency with C++, C#, Java; experience with MATLAB is a plus. Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and distributed systems for scalable AI research. Expertise in developing algorithms for image processing, signal analysis, data mining, and statistical research methods relevant to autonomous perception systems. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS for training and deploying machine learning models at scale.
