Junior Data Scientist (TS/SCI Clearance)

Job Description

EpochGeo is looking for a junior-level Data Scientist to support one of the most innovative, exciting, and growing offices that is rooted in data rich projects in the national security space. Are you a data scientist, AI/ML practitioner, mathematician, or similar, who loves to work with data, find patterns in it, and then turn it into actionable intelligence? Your background likely includes:
1-5 years of experience and a Bachelors or Masters Degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field Experience in data science languages - Python, SQL, and R Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) Experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics Ability to work with large data sets and perform analytics Experience with AI tool development and automation Excellent communication skills to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner What you will be doing: Conducting data analytics, data engineering, and data mining to uncover insights and inform decisions. Building machine learning tools, such as recommendation engines and lead scoring systems. Performing statistical analysis and applying data mining techniques to develop high-quality prediction systems. Visualizing data and creating narrative products using Tableau and other graphical applications. Managing, merging, and analyzing large, disparate data sources using R, Python, or SQL. Developing AI tools to automate key processes and improve operational efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
