- Pleasanton, CA) We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to support customer data quality, governance, and compliance in a retail environment. This is a 40-hour per week, 8
- month contract (extensions possible), 100% onsite role in Pleasanton, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Improve and maintain customer data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency)
- Apply and enforce data governance policies, standards, and rules
- Maintain data catalog, metadata, and data lineage
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in data governance and data quality.
- Strong understanding of customer data in retail environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders (including C-suite)
- Knowledge of data privacy, PII, and compliance requirements.
