This role serves as the central owner of product data, ensuring that formulations, ingredients, specifications, item masters, labels, nutrition information and regulatory documentation are complete, accurate and maintained throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with Product Development, Operations, Procurement, Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA), Sales, and Regulatory Affairs, the Product Data Specialist coordinates the creation, maintenance and revision of product information to support new product commercialization, customer requirements, facility operations and regulatory compliance. Job Duties Creates and maintains all finished goods, raw materials, packaging components and intermediate products within Canopy Creates and maintains product formulations, ingredient specifications and batch sheets Documents product attributes including allergens, nutritional information, labeling, shelf life and production parameters Supports ERP and product specification data through routine audits and validation Coordinates specification changes with Product Development, QA, Procurement and Operations Ensures formula and specification changes are properly documented and communicated Designs and maintains production labels using BarTender software Ensures labels comply with USDA, customer and company requirements Prepares
USDA FSIS
label submission packages, maintains records of approved labels and regulatory documentation Creates and maintains Nutrition Facts Panels Gathers information from relevant parties, creates product specifications and communicates product requirements to all stakeholders
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
