Job Description

This position works within the Merchandising Department and is primarily responsible for coordinating product data and pricing updates while supporting day-to-day operations. The role assists with the flow of product information related to creating and maintaining item records in the ERP product database, helping ensure quality standards are met for all product master data and pricing initiatives, in close partnership with the vendor specialists. This role requires being onsite Monday-Friday in our Walnut Creek, CA office.
Duties and Responsibilities to include:
Coordinate product information management workflows related to new SKU/product setup, product data maintenance, pricing, and vendor updates. Actively monitor and update internal ticketing system to meet deadlines for all projects and assigned tasks related to products, vendors, and the ERP database. Organize and process vendor price list submissions and updates submitted via merchandising tickets and vendor emails, and relay timely updates to the team. Support new item setup and product updates while maintaining item master data integrity and accuracy by preparing data templates and organizing information in Excel. Develop a working knowledge of key vendors and their product assortments. Execute other duties as assigned by management to address and provide effective support for company mission, values and goals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred. 1-2 years' experience with data entry processes involving Excel. 1-2 years' working in small teams for a mid-size company. Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite:
Excel, Outlook, and Word; experience with advanced formulas and functions such as Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Previous related experience in product data management or merchandising is a plus.
