Position Title :
Customer Master Data Specialist Overview Responsible for creating, validating, and maintaining customer master data in the ERP system. Ensure customer accounts are accurately set up, required documentation and D&B reports are reviewed, and records remain current, complete, and compliant to support billing, credit, reporting, and operations. Responsibilities Create, update, and maintain customer master records in the ERP system. Review setup requests, approvals, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance. Verify customer information using D&B reports, including legal name, address, DUNS number, credit details, and business status. Maintain billing, shipping, tax, contact, payment term, credit limit, invoice delivery, and account classification details. Identify and correct duplicate, incomplete, inactive, or outdated customer records. Resolve data discrepancies with sales, customer service, credit, collections, billing, and other teams. Maintain documentation and audit trails for customer setups, changes, deactivations, merges, and cleanup. Protect confidential information and support accurate billing, credit, reporting, order processing, controls, and audit readiness. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, accounting, finance, data management, or related field preferred. Experience with customer master data, AR, credit, billing, customer onboarding, or ERP data entry preferred. ERP experience and familiarity with D&B reports, credit review, business verification, or customer setup processes a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to enter, review, research, and maintain accurate data. Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong organization, communication, problem-solving, confidentiality, and time-management skills.
