Yes Job Type Full-Time Working Hours Position Summary The Student Systems and Process Improvement Specialist plays a central role in advancing Roosevelt University's student success and operational excellence goals by leading the deployment of new registrar software systems and strengthening university data reporting and analytics capacity. Approximately half the position focuses on software project management—planning, coordinating, and overseeing the implementation and integration of new registrar technologies, and successful adoption and the effective use of AI. The remaining portion supports building and maintaining reports, analyzing data discrepancies, data quality, data definitions, and ensuring reliable, actionable information for decision-making. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Minimum of three years hands-on project management leadership experience in a higher education environment on multiple large-scale projects. Experience on the functional side of at least one major system of any Ellucian Banner system. Knowledge of the design, development and maintenance of reports and dashboards using Argos, EAB Edify, other analytics platforms and AI. Collaboration with departments to translate business questions into data requirements and produce actionable insights. Maintain documentation, metadata definitions, and data quality standards. Facilitation of data governance. The building and maintenance of reports, analyzing data discrepancies, data quality, data definitions and ensuring reliable, actionable information for decision-making. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
