As the Clinical Data Specialist for the Cancer Registry, you will: Abstract clinically relevant data from electronic medical records and report to registry or hospital databases Review selection criteria, evaluation parameters, and analyze diagnostic information to determine inclusion and exclusion of clinical data entry into database Compile all required information, including but not limited to outcome and process measures, annual follow-up and ongoing vital status Respond to all requests for information based on a thorough understanding of the registry products Be responsible for clinical interpretation of data definitions in accordance with registry reporting standards Assist with internal and external audits, report generation, and communication pathways Assist with regular communication of results and initiatives via scorecards, dashboards, newsletters, memos, emails, etc. Perform other duties as assigned What you'll bring: 6+ months of experience working in a related healthcare setting or data entry experience Associate's degree from an accredited School OR 2 years of related work experience Certification in Cancer Registry (CTR or ODS) OR 2 years of related medical experience
Salary Range:
Minimum 36.51/hour - Maximum 43.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
