Job Description
We are looking for a Data Specialist & Technical Support team member to join a service-focused team in Minnesota. This position combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with data analysis, reporting, and client system support to help keep daily operations accurate and efficient. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, advanced Excel expertise, and practical experience working with databases and system-generated data. Success in this role requires clear communication, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee data uploads and related processing tasks, ensuring information is entered, validated, and completed with a high level of precision.
- Configure and onboard new clients within internal platforms, confirming setup details are accurate and aligned with operational needs.
- Develop and run database queries to extract, review, and verify information stored in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Examine technical and data-related issues to identify inconsistencies, determine root causes, and support timely resolution.
- Prepare recurring and one-time reports that provide clear, reliable information for business and operational use.
- Review large data sets to detect errors, irregularities, and performance concerns affecting system accuracy.
- Compare data across interfaces, uploads, reports, and database records to confirm consistency and completeness.
- Document troubleshooting steps, query logic, findings, and recommended solutions to support knowledge sharing and process consistency.
- Partner with internal teams to gather requirements, communicate issue status, and recommend improvements to reporting, data quality, and operational workflows.
