Rose Brooks Center, a nonprofit domestic violence agency, is currently seeking a full-time Data Specialist. The Data Specialist is responsible for extracting, compiling, and distributing routine and ad hoc reports to support organizational operations and performance monitoring. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of data while maintaining reporting standards. This is an individual contributor role and does not have responsibility for strategic data analysis or strategic recommendations. The Data Specialist generates timely and accurate reports for the Grants team and Rose Brooks Center's performance and quality improvement processes. This position ensures all required data elements are collected and reported and partners with the Chief Operating Officer, program directors, Development-Grants, and Finance teams to develop accurate and timely processes for data collection and reporting. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
OTHER ASPECTS OF THE POSITION
Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with agency policies and procedures while demonstrating proficiency in all RBC competencies and utilizing the principles of trauma-informed care and accessibility. Demonstrates a commitment to the overall mission of Rose Brooks Center. Attend scheduled staff, team, and supervision meetings. Participate in all required trainings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
2+ years of accurate and timely data collection and reporting experience and/or commensurate combination of education and experience. 2+ years of administrative, reporting, office management, or data support experience. Experience working with databases or software systems. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet established deadlines. Basic understanding of data quality and reporting best practices. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Customer service mindset and ability to respond professionally to internal requests. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, database systems, and other software. Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
HOURS:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, primarily Monday through Friday daytime hours, averaging 40 hours per week. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This full-time, non-exempt position starts at an hourly rate of $22.00 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
