Primary Skill Required for the Role DevOps Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions to extract financial and operational data from multiple enterprise source systems for delivery to the analytics platform
- Analyze source system data structures and collaborate with Business Analysts to implement source-to-target mappings and transformation logic
- Develop automated data extraction, transformation, validation, and file generation processes in accordance with vendor specifications
- Build and maintain scheduled batch processes and data pipelines to support recurring data deliveries
- Implement data quality validations, reconciliation checks, and exception handling to ensure accuracy and completeness of outbound data
- Partner with business stakeholders and data owners to understand source system data, business rules, and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with vendor implementation teams to validate file formats, data mappings, and integration requirements
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment by resolving integration defects and validating data outputs
- Troubleshoot data quality issues, investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Optimize data extraction and transformation processes for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Produce technical documentation including interface specifications, mapping documents, transformation rules, and operational support procedures
- Support production operations by monitoring scheduled jobs, investigating failures, and ensuring timely delivery of data feeds
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and other technical teams Financial Services Experience
- Experience working with financial services data is preferred
- Familiarity with brokerage, wealth management, cash management, deposits, or banking data is highly desirable
- Experience performing financial data reconciliation and validation
- Understanding of data governance, auditability, and regulatory controls for financial data
